Gray's Towing was started in 1967 by O.J. Mason Gray as Gray's Texaco. Now owned by his son Michael Gray and wife Sheila, managed by the third generation. From 2007 to 2024, expanded from 3 trucks to 29 power units. Currently boasts 34 power units, 1 car trailer, 3 landoll trailers, and 2 lowboy trailers for light duty towing and roadside assistance to heavy duty towing and super load equipment transport. Holds contracts with hundreds of commercial and private accounts. Serves all of Eastern North Carolina and surrounding areas, with long distance towing as far as Massachusetts, Texas, Florida, and California.
