Briggs Tire Service was founded in 1975 by Kenneth Lloyd Briggs. It began as a one car garage in the village of Lone Pine. Scott took over the business in 2001 and expanded to include high performance tires and custom wheels, and a Mini-OTR service truck for larger farm and off road vehicles. Sean Briggs joined in 2007, representing the 3rd generation. The company sells and services tires for personal vehicles, farming, construction and trucking industries. They have five service trucks and specialize in 24 hour emergency road service. In 2017, they replaced the old garage with a new state of the art tire shop with two oversized bays to service semis, tankers, triaxle trucks, trailers and campers inside the building.
