Auto Inn Repair

Auto Inn Repair was started in 1976 by Andrew and Diane Burg. The first shop was located on Klondyke in Kemmerer Wyoming. Mr. Burg came up with the name as a hotel to drop cars at. At the time he worked on all types of vehicles from cars to semis. The day came when he had to choose and specialize in one or the other. Andy chose to stay with the semis. Since the humble start Auto Inn has grown. The current shop sits on 2.5 acres and has a six bay shop. Three of the bays are large enough to accommodate tractor, trailer and pup and are pull through. Auto Inn has also been in the towing and recovery industry since the late 1970's. The shop has 2 large tow trucks, 3 small tow trucks and various other equipment to be a one stop shop for recovery needs. Today Auto Inn is operated by Andy, Brian (his son) and Annemarie (his daughter) operating on the same values and principles they had when the business started. The diesel shop is first rate. It has three pull through bays to work on equipment inside. The mechanics are knowledgeable. The shop has a wide selection of parts in stock. (They know they are a long way from anywhere and try to have the most common parts available.) If customers cannot get to the shop, the team can do minor repairs along the highway or in a truck stop. The 2008 Freightliner service truck is equipped to handle a variety of small repairs along the highway including jump starts, tire repair or replacement, air leaks, etc. The shop has 2 large tow trucks to mee.
